Scan your shopping receipt and see where it's cheaper

Take a photo of your latest supermarket receipt and we read the items off it, then price that exact same shop across the other nine supermarkets — so you can see, item by item, how much your real weekly shop would have cost elsewhere.

How it works

• Photograph or upload your receipt. Use your phone camera or upload an image of a standard printed supermarket receipt.
• We read the line items and match them to products. Each item on the receipt is matched to the same product in our price data.
• We total the same basket across all ten supermarkets. You get the whole shop priced at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Waitrose, Morrisons, Ocado, Iceland, Co-op, Aldi and Lidl — and we show which is cheapest and by how much.

What you learn

You find out whether your usual supermarket is actually the cheapest for your real basket — not a generic ranking, but the shop you just did. And because we compare item by item, you also see exactly which products are cheaper elsewhere, so you know precisely what's worth switching and what to leave where it is.

It uses your real basket, not a survey

Generic "cheapest supermarket" rankings use a fixed basket that probably isn't yours — a set list of items chosen to be representative, not the things you actually buy. Scanning your receipt compares the exact products in your shop, at today's prices, so the answer reflects what you really put in your trolley rather than someone else's list.

Private and free

No account needed, no ads, no tracking. Your receipt is used to build the comparison and nothing else — it isn't sold or shared. Scan it, see where your shop is cheaper, and that's it.
